Guess its a different situation to Brazil 09 really, if there was 0.1% chance of them running qualy they would have stayed with it but there's just no hope of it going ahead.

Okay, so whats happening with qualifying now? Is it going ahead or will they line up on the grid tomorrow in their championship positions?

According to the sporting regulations - they need a 4 hour gap between the publication of the official grid results and the parade lap.
Having the qualifying at 10am... doesn't leave them the mandated gap...
Now it's been postponed till tomorrow, they need to discuss what will happen if that doesn't go ahead. There's regs that says in car number order, others that say championship order...
Qualifying session will finish at about 3am, race starts at 7am. They're cutting it fine, but there should be the required gap.
All for the grid being put in Car No order
So not much point watching the recording then. .
