Japanese Grand Prix 2011, Suzuka Circuit - Race 15/19

How have you not understood what I have said more like??? Vettel pushed Button onto the grass at probably over 150mph and if Button didn't back out there would have probably been a serious collision with either driver maybe getting seriously hurt or even killed plus the amount of crowds only metres away could have had debris flying towards them... If that Had been Hamilton he would have been punished for sure!! But thats racing it seems this year.

Yes, completely backed up by the fact that Hamilton was actually involved in an incident that resulted in contact and even damage to a competitors car but the stewards did nothing at all.

Oh wait.

So the fact Hamilton was in front and just taking the racing line around a corner Massa would never of had any chance of over taking around doesn't matter? Lewis said he's sorry for the Massa incident but he was surprised Massa was trying a move in such a stupid place plus the track was really bumpy making the mirrors next to useless. It was also at fairly low speeds so hardly even a dangerous maneuver also. There was plenty of room for Massa to move over but he kept driving towards Hamilton.

Yes but the stewards punish Hamilton at any given opportunity don't they? So surely an actual collision where damage was caused to someone elses car is the perfect opportunity for them to give him a drive through?

I'm not anyones fanboy I like all the drivers. I just hate the stwards system this year it has gone down hill a lot for some reason. Open your eyes and you might see what a neutral see's like me.

Neutral? Delusion or fantasy I think are closer to the mark.

Just watching the replay now, IMO, Jenson shouldn't have yeilded to Vettel. He's too British sometimes in his driving approach..

"No No Mr Vettel, after you....."

Just read the Massa interview.

It appears that his preschool entertainment implements have been rapidly vacated from his manually propelled personal transport system.

coming from you that means nothing. Do you work for ferrari by any chance?

No, i'm a McLaren supporter, currently with several items of Lewis Hamilton branded clothing in my wardrobe.

But don't let that get in the way of your inane ramblings, i'm probably really a HAMILTON HATER HEEEEEEEEERP deep down.

Ok I have heard it all from you now I knew I shouldn't have bothered from your first post. This is my point of view.

Sky will be about £40 a month I reckon, time you take their basic tv package and add on all the sport channels

The thing is though, I have no interest in any other channels or tv shows which SKY offer.

If I am spending £40/month on SKY, that will basically be £480, to view 20 races @ £24/race. Even pay per viewing boxing matches are cheaper than that!

BBC have done a brilliant job with formula 1 and feels like its back in the old days when I used to look forward to every race when I was 8. I have sky sports etc but wish BBC could keep Formula 1!!

yet Lewis rams into Massa removing part of his car and is not punished, seems to not fit with the theory :)

Rams into Massa? Hamilton held his line

Hopefully next season Red Bull will be caught - of course I won't be able to watch most of next season :( - will probably "watch" the Sky coverage after the race.

I just hate the stwards system this year it has gone down hill a lot for some reason.

Unfortunately, in 2011, we have reached a point where Stewards will basically investigate every single incident. 10-15 years ago, this didn't happen. In fact, I don't even remember hearing the term "Stewards", during a race.

However, with the progression of time, the system of Stewards analysing every little thing going on during the race, is becoming increasingly common. I'm sure there will come a point where even a clean pass, will be investigated and subject to a penalty.

And why is Hamilton constantly being brought to the attention of the Stewards? Because he is constantly having collisions. Today, for example, Vettel and Button could've had a collision, but they avoided it. They then went on to have a good clean race. Hamilton on the other hand had yet another collision (with his new sparring partner).

The problem with this is that I don't like to involve other people with dodgy antics. I prefer to go the cheapest legal route.
