Japanese Grand Prix 2014, Suzuka - Race 15/19

They are more than 'just' an engine supplier to McLaren. They give them the engines for free in exchange for being considered the works team. Similar to the relationship they used to have with Mercedes.

Honda will have significant sway in deciding what McLaren do.

How will I decide who to support.

Lotus with their failing team?
Or Honda powered effectively works team?

If Alonso is in there all the better. With RG would be perfect

Except the track's involving, iconic and creates a great spectacle...

Be fair - the iconic tracks are all iconic because there's been racing there for many years. Abu Dhabi is hardly a great race, but it's one of my favourite places to watch cars going vroom. Give it another 30 years, it might be Monaco 2.0.

How will I decide who to support.

Genii Capital Racing who have achieved nothing, but keep pretending to be other teams and steal their achievements,
Or the return of the iconic and hugely successful McLaren-Honda partnership, potentially with 2 WDCs.

Hmm... tough choice..... :p

It might, but they'd still struggle to compete with the Japanese fans who are utterly mental (in a good way!).

I am going to the missus' nan's this weekend and she's only got Freeview. Just looked at BBC's schedule and realise, WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING LIVE TV COVERAGE OF THE QUALI?!

That's the best part about Japan GP is I can watch it in the morning and have the rest of the day to do other stuff, not either listen to Radio 5 or wait till afternoon to watch a repeat. BAH!

Really not live quali on the beeb? I hope it is just badly written and "Qualifying 05:55 - 7:05" includes live on BBC.
