They mercs are 1-2 seconds faster than everyone in general at this track so just because they are faster on wets than others on inters doesn't mean they won't be even faster on the inters, seems ridiculous to me.

IF they can still be 2 seconds faster again on inters then they can pit and still gain time overall and give themselves a bigger gap later in the race when they next need to pit.
