What's the odds on a Rosberg DNF this weekend? Read earlier that he's had the same race unit since Belgium. That thing must be ready to go

Not looking good, Nico ahead of Lewis P1/P2 at a track he has been stronger at the last few years.

I suspect he has conceded this year. He wont admit it though

It is only P1/2 plus 80% chance of rain in Qualifying and 60% in the race. Not over till the fat lady sings.

One DNF or breakdown for Nico and it's all back on. He'll keep pushing, simply because more pressure on Nico means he has to push harder and as he has shown in previous years, he has a knack of buckling under pressure.

Practice sessions aren't really meaningful.

Chance of a damp changeable race? Maybe Button can get a podium in his last season

Still need to find a lot of time from the 16th on the grid (in P2) for there to any hope of that :(

.

Hasnt exactly buckled at any point this year, so no reason to think he will now.

At the moment LH is under the most pressure to try and reduce the deficit of points, until that happens Rosberg can do his normal thing (as said elsewhere, highly unlikely LH will win all 5 remaining races either)

Nico seems to be on top of his engine management this year. He'll turn it down even if it means he'll finish 3rd or 4th. He can afford to play it safe.

Yeah, it's not over until it's over but I don't see a Nico DNF happening in the next five races.

Though I'll trade my Xmas and bithday presents for a double DNF for Nico

I disagree. Austria he buckled against pressure from Lewis. Got passed round the outside in Becketts and Maggots by Verstappen at Silverstone. Ran Verstappen wide during an overtake in Germany. Has generally been poor in the wet. Oh and I forgot he made a hash of passing Verstappen in Canada. He is fast but no racer. He will crack again if challenged.

That only works if Hamilton has yet another problem otherwise Rosberg can't play it safe. It is a big ask for Hamilton to win all 5 races remaining but equally Rosberg's lead isn't large enough to start settling for 3rd or 4th places.

I don't ascribe to the conspiracy theory but it would be an amazing run of luck if Rosberg sees out the season having had no problems.

I disagree, Hamilton is getting to the point where he has little to lose.

A rosberg DNF is what we need to spice this up.
