Just thought I'd revive this thread. Next weekend (20th) I'll be down (well up for me actually) at West Harptree for 11:00.

Anybody already done this year's events? (dunno when they start/ed).

I take it that the event is free...just don't want to turn up and find out I need to spend money I hadn't planned on spending.

I'll try and get some photos when I'm there...or more to the point I'll get my missus to take photos as she said she didn't want to be a passenger...I think she may be scared of my driving.

Dangerous, you're at 11:00 aswell aren't you? Do I have to be worried about that?!

Oh, and they've made more dates as the promotion is very popular, so if you haven't signed up, do it!

Anyone fancy setting up a competing film studio? Pitching up with a mobile phone camera and actually releasing something should do the trick

Ok, so if I see a crazy man with a huge camera I have to hide/run him over yes?

I would take my miniDV cam along...but there is something up with the CCD...it likes to think that the lens cap is still on...

I recon it should be a fun and interesting experience, and having a video of it would be cool, but I can settle for cameraphone pictures by the missus (who can't take photos too well).

Dunno, I tried calling their number to see if I needed to part with any cash and no answer...although I did call between 1 and 2, and that's like lunchtime. No harm in phoning them and asking I guess.

I can't wait to do this though...it may only be 2 hours, but it should be a lot of fun.

Doubt you will - This link went up ages ago and IIRC there is only 4000 places?
