Jeffrey Epstein

Gordon Brown is no doubt thinking "vengeance is a dish best served cold" as he twists the (well-deserved) knife into Mandleson's back. Same knife Mandleson shoved in his back in the 1990s. Some bits of this whole business are comedy central :D

Brown sent him to the Lords so he could bring him into the cabinet in 2008 to help with the run up to the 2010 election.

Coffeezilla going though some of the files. It is amazing how there haven't been far more charges.

Watching now.

Elon and Kimbel Musk mentioned. Richard Branson, Woody Allen and Steve Bannon all mentioned trying to improve Epstein's PR. An author / MD called Peter Attia who rather than attend a family emergency where his son suffered a cardiac arrest, instead was hanging out with Epstein.

Interesting line in an email from Fergy.

"No woman has ever left the royal family and kept her head".

What I find amazing is the extent to which all these celebs, politicians and Royals fawned over the guy - even after he got sent to prison. Some of the emails from Fergie etc - its worse than a Trump cabinet meeting for levels of toe-curling cringe.

Alex Jones made a career selling the idea of a paedo elite, so it's amusing to see his relative silence on this beyond defending some of the elites mentioned purely because they are on his side/bankrolled him at somepoint.
Bit more than relative silence. Hypocrite doesn't even come close to what's he's campaigned on vs now defending.

Apparently he was an incredibly charismatic guy. He manged to go from nothing to millionaire and then billionaire off his personality and brains. I'm sure like most people who makes millions he was also a crook.

Hopefully once a Democrat gets back in the WH we'll see all the Trump stuff Bondi has held back.

Oh you mean like how the Dems controlled the DOJ for four years under Biden and somehow managed to uncover.... absolutely nothing new on Trump beyond what we already knew? Funny how that works, total radio silence and zero bombshells dropped. But sure you keep those fingers crossed for the next round

You do know that until Maxwell's appeals were exhausted the DOJ couldn't release any files? The SC finally shut down her appeals in October 2025. Was Biden president in October 2025? Which is why the law wasn't passed until November 2025

I didn't see the DOJ go after Trump over Epstein though. If there was something there, you'd have thought they would be onto it. No?

it's true and frustrated me too and said it at the time. why didn't biden release this sooner as he had 4 years. why wait until trumps back in control.

but it was pointed out to me that 1) biden is seperate from DOJ and so he rightly had no involvement and no pressure applied by him for them to move with anything, and 2) why release the stuff on trump which will also hurt biden allies, when trump already had so much against him with all those cases, which he imo 100% would have lost had he not won the election, and 3) this is a huge issue for trump and leaving it for him really has damaged trumps 2nd term.
