Jezza does it again

I was going to reply sensibly but then I saw how poor your spelling is and the above sentence and thought 'why bother?'.

Everyone knows i have bad spelling.
I dont pretend i dont.

But i wasnt the one saying he didnt have any skills.
And hes the one making all the money and writting all the collums and books

Surely all this tells us is that the Scottish are borderline insane, rather than make JC out to be "unforgivable". Too much bloody mis-placed pride the Scots seem to have. God knows why, everyone knows Gordon Brown is a moron, and they would be signing praise to the words spoken by JC, if the PM was English.

Almost worthy of a response, good try. :)

I'm not sure making fun of Gordon Brown's disability is fair game but for the rest I could hardly care less, I'm not one of the Scots who is proud to claim the PM (nor the last one really) except when I can use it to wind up my English mates.

I don't see the big deal. PEople have a pop at each other all the time. Look at PM Question Time, although they don't use quite so direct words or insults, some of the things said are rather demeaning to one another.

It's just because JC is in the lime light, it's unfair that he has to be castigated for having an opinion. If it was a stand up show or the comedy store and a famous comedian did it, no one would bat an eyelid. People have made jokes about cripples and slightly morally ambiguous comments in such instances and no one has chosen to take offence. So why the fuss now?

This is getting out of hand - people want blood for everything. The BBC or even TV for that matter wiull end up so stale and dull owing to censorship if it continues like this.

I thought the comments were hilarious. And altohugh it's a "disability" it was owing to an injury playing rugby and one that I'm sure he takes the mickey out of himself of too.

People take offence too easily these days and it's pathetic. Don't people have better things to do than complain about such inane things? GB's big and bad enough to fight for himself, why do people want to fight his war for him? Too many wanna-be heroes when there's just no need for a hero.

Sad sad sad.

1. His has an opinion on anything and everything. How many columns does he have? He isn't that entertaining really and he doesn't posses any skills.

2. Read his books/columns, watch his programmes, his ego is bigger than his £££million contracts.

I haven't taken offence to anything he has said. I take offence to people taking offence to it because nothing he does is newsworthy.

1. since when has there been a limit on the number of things a person is allowed to have an opinion on?
you can't seriously say he's not entertaining. perhaps you don't find him so, but hundreds of thousands of other people the world over do.
if he didn't possess any skills, my previous point wouldn't stand. additionally, being quite an excellent racing driver still counts as a skill.

2. i have read (some) of his books - i find them well thought out and generally quite interesting reads. yes, his books are all about his opinions of things thats what they're supposed to be about. thats what people want to read, so thats what he writes. just because he's writing about his opinions, as people want him to doesn't make him egotistical.

i can't understand your malice towards him - i'm on the verge of saying you're jealous of his success.

I was going to reply sensibly but then I saw how poor your spelling is and the above sentence and thought 'why bother?'.

now you're just being immature.

Absolute legend for speaking his mind.

Gordon Brown would go up in my estimation (currently somewhere in hell) if he actually had a witty retord for JC at some point.

I notice he wasnt presenting a bbc programme at the time he said these comments so he was merely talking to journalists as himself..so it was his opinion..not the bbc's opionion

Come on, Gordon B. is an idiot, is a scot, and has one working eye, JC is bang on...

Also imo:
Most idiots here are proud that the prime minister is a Scot and believe him to be the right person to get the UK through this global economic crisis.

Yes I don't like social democrats so what...

Apparently, you can't say anything even mildly contraversial these days without causing an uproar. Why are the Scottish MPs defending GB anyway? You'd think they'd want to distance themselves from him as much as possible, so as to have some sort of political career once GB is gone.

Oh my god! You cant TELL people who have got 1 eye that they only have 1 eye! They're not aware of it! THEY DONT KNOW THEY ONLY HAVE ONE EYE!

You can trust Clarkson to "tell it like it is", why is it this guy can be so in tune with public opinion and the liberal media and politicians just be so far out!

The comments provoked anger in Scotland.
Truth hurt much?

Just make the man MP and be done with it. At leased then we can go down in a blaze of controversy, hilarity and hysteria. I kind of like the idea of Top Gear meets numbers 10 and 11.
