Jiggy's WC long log (TJ07)

nice build that. Went a bit sleeving mad though.. individually sleeved ATX cable

Years ago (like, 5) i bought a cheapo psu braiding kit from a well known cheapo competitor, it was something like £1.84. came with tools which i've never broken yet, despite hard use and abuse. Neon green braiding and molexes though.. often spending big money on the top tooling gear isn't the best choice.. my tools from that kit are ugly but tough.

Your build is nice, good work sah. But wow does it remind me why i despise side windows so much, especially on watercooled pcs.. 100% personal preference.. it does look cool but not my cup of bourbon.

Cheers for the idea of the reserator for cooling mosfets etc, i'm going to use that one :D lol

Excellent build, nicely done :)

He takes some nice photos, not the camera. Sorry but people saying that really bugs me.

Thank you :), and cheers for that, i wanted to say it but didnt want to come across as cocky :)

@Skree (to long to quote lol)

Cheers man ;) ye i know well i didn't do the whole thing, only did the extender, it would takes ages to do the whole 24pin ATX wires, well still took me 2 - 3 hours to do the extender, but.. i think it was worth it ;)

The cheap stuff usually does the trick, but i must say as the days have passed i have used the molex remover and the 3-4 pin fan remover but pins still work best for 6/8 pin PCI-e, 4/8 pin CPU power connectors and 20/24pin ATX :D

That's the thing with the side window, im still thinking if to have it on or not at the moment, the main reason i had it on for photos is because when i first powered it up in my room (with the side off) was testing the fan speed of the 2200rpm fans at the front and tested them the proper way by putting your finger lol and i snapped a blade off, so looks silly in pics and if i let it turn it vibrates like what not :D Maybe when i SLI and add a WC to the SB, i will take the side off

The Zalaman was my first ever WC, i used it to cool my CPU, then realized it was a bit sucky for it, so i bought my other stuff (my second WC build) so i didn't know what to do with it so i thought it should have enough to WC my mofset and NB, it does the job very well and it looks nice aswell IMHO, but make sure you use anti corrosive as its aluminum :)

heh, i'll only get a zalman if i can find one cheap.. got other plans for most of my upcoming WC.

The grille over your rad fans looks pretty good, it's the clear window into a pc case i don't particularly like, never did even when the first "gaming" cases came out with them years ago. I'd cover it if it was my case - probably put a LCD screen in there as a second monitor tbh :D

Was woken up at 7.30 this morning (on my day off after going to bed at 4.00 in the morning) by some person at FedEx saying they have a really large amounts of books  and could i come and collect them. I hadn't ordered any books, but... well went off down, when i got there i just saw my Tj07 case and was pleasantly surprised. God knows how they thought it was books.. But o well, it weighed a ton

Here is the size of the box

Sure they didnt say "large box"

Great build btw

Excellent work Jiggy, that TJ07 looks the buisness!

What size of braiding and heatshrink did you use on the SATA cables? I'm just about to order some right now and I'm not too sure!
Thanks :)

Attack of the 20ft TJ07, great build :D

For some reason i cant focus in that close to objects with a similar camera it just blur's :/ but cracking pictures mate!

That is awesome!

It grates me when people say the camera is good, yes a camera is what it is in the capable hands. Superb pictures btw!

Enjoyed reading through your log

For a second there I thought you'd put tubing from both ports on the CPU to both ports on the GPU. That'd be a good way to cook them both :p

Yeah, I'd have put the tubing in the top too, instead of using the 90 degree joint.

I know ye, but the compression fitting didn't fit on the top part :(

Will be all sorted in the future ;) will probably use a 45 on the GPU and 45 on the CPU block so they join nicely :D

Nice work mate, I love seeing TJ07 builds, as it is a great case imo.

Only one thing that I didn't like was the holes you cut in the mobo tray, they were squint, but as they cannot be seen, it doesn't really matter I guess, but everything else looks great!
