Did anyone really expect a sensible, balanced outcome? Hopefully the FA finally sort out their rules and set some lengths of ban that proportionately reflect deliberate violent misconduct vs non-deliberate bad challenges vs use racist language vs use other non-racist abusive language, but I doubt they will and we'll be treated to another shambles in future.
Also, how can the FA fine players legally? I thought fines could only be applied by judges and magistrates according to law, but civil litigants can only claim compensation to the extent that they have been harmed and may not make a profit. £220K is shocking even in the context of elite players' earnings, it looks like the FA are making a lot of money here, so why are they allowed to?
I expected a ban of anything from 6-12 games and a much smaller fine.

Let it go, you make so many posts saying the exact same thing and nothing is going to change your or anyone else's opinion on Suarez and the handling of the incident.4 match ban but the dirty south american gets 8 without evidence of even saying it offensively lmao
