John wick - A step to far

I've clarified my point with you on more than occasion and yet you still tell me I meant something else and feel a certain way.

There's no mind reading required here and if you had gone on what I said, we wouldn't still be here.

Fine, you win, you're right, maximum points to you, have a cookie, he was having a crack at you. Nothing to do with replying to me. Whatever makes you feel good.
I still see a response to my remark and I found it funny within the context of the topic. Your problem if you don't. As he originally said - Get over yourself.

if you had gone on what I said, we wouldn't still be here.
You truly belong in politics... talk about "a step too far"!!

I would not have known this film existed but for this thread. So, THANKS.

And I hear a sequel is coming soon!

And no, not a step 'to' far. I loved the avoidance of many cinematic clichés, forgave the black-umbrellas-from-above-funeral shot, but groaned just a little when it became apparent that oh! it's Russian gangsters.

Just at the point where
John Wick kills a large number of Russian gangsters in his house, and I was thinking, Hey how is he going to dispose of all these bodies, knowing that in movies it isn't something that's addressed... the very point was addressed! Very good!

Are we done now?
I'm done with you.
Hmm, not heard *that* before... :p

I loved the avoidance of many cinematic clichés
And yet it revelled in just as many other clichés as it avoided.
Hitman wearing a suit being my pet peeve - It was mildly funny in Grosse Point Blank as the character admits the deliberate stereotype of his own dress sense and image.

Best quote from the whole film: ".......................................................................Oh. "

I sometimes wonder how people like the op function in todays society. Probably crawled up in a corner of the room.

Or gets upset if he hears the word ****.

I thought it was great because of those points.

How the action is allowed to breath by the shot being wide and you see what's going on and the guns actually runs out of bullets and he actually need to reload.

This.

Everyone has different limits on what they think is acceptable.

I was fine with the violence in this and even harsher films like The Raid (I and II, both of which are great), but get annoyed by how much mindless sex gets injected into TV shows seemingly just for the sake of it, these days. The show just gets boring at that point as it feels like using children naughty words just because they can.
