Jose Mourinho next job

Hmm..the thought of Barca just brought back memories - wasn't Mourhino assistant under Bobby Robson years ago? When they originally won the Eurocup in 92?

Looks like Barca can be ruled out. Guardiola has been confirmed as the replacement for Rijkaard.

And to clear up the confussion around my last post....

The 'Real yes but not Barca' bit was in reply to the post about Barca being unstable.

No surprise that Rijkaard gone. He had a few great seasons and Barca of 2/3 years ago played the best football that i have ever seen but they don't give much time there to turn it around. Could see him at AC Milan in the near future as he was a popular player for them.

Don't think you could call either Real or Barca stable. Both have odd systems for running the club- both have been pretty much bankrupt in the last few years.

I was so sad to see Mourinho leave Chelski,

Yes, he was an utter tool at times, but he was a unique character and undeniably brilliant, and provided us with a plethora of semi-serious comic moments. I hope he lands on his feet, with a team which has a serious champions league squad (although I see the premiership dominating that competition for the next few years at least).

Jose Mourinno >> Avram Grant, champions league finals not withstanding.

It's a shame for outspoken managers when Warnock goes down and Mourinho leaves. The EPL has been a little boring this year. Hopefully Warnock gets Crystal Palace up.

Benitez has at times stepped up to the plate on the entertainment stakes, oh and there was wengers mini conspiracy theory breakdown a few weeks ago. but i have missed mourinho.

Two words - Carlos Queiroz.

You think manyoo fans would be happier with him taking over? Mourinho has managed on his own two feet at more than one club, has personality and knows how to get the job done.

Queeroz doesn't have any of that.
