Jumper VS Juno

Didnt really 'get it' myself. It tried to be smart/funny in a new age/emo kind of fashion, but didn't really work. Juno, yes was irritating, and i was very disappointed that 'Michael Cera' played exactly the same type of character that he did in superbad. Superbad was a LOT better. Doesn't live up to the hype and prob a dvd release to pass the time. haven't seen jumper, but looks better from the trailer alone.

Jumper was ok but it looked allot better in adverts and wouldnt bother to watch it again. Juno was better tbh.

Had this choice last night and the wife and I ended up seeing Juno.

After 5 minutes or so I thought I was going to hate this film but I actually quite enjoyed it. Found it very 'weird' but there was something about it that made me want to keep watching. Can't decide whether I liked the title character or not - at times I did but at other times she was incredibly annoying which I guess is the effect that the filmmakers were after.

Soundtrack was catchy too, kept humming that tune all last night!

Juno was a really good film imo, good story, well acted and really good soundtrack.

Jumper was a horrible horrible film with a weak story and a abrupt and terrible ending. It's only saving grace was some ok special effects.

If you have seen the trailer to Jumper you have seen all the good bits is the best way to put it :D

I saw Juno first and thought it was one of the best films i've seen recently, really enjoyed it and thought it was very funny, but genuine.

Jumper was one of the worst films i've seen recently, if not of all time. Hayden Christensen is still a whine little b as he was in Star Wars, the plot is awful, and they can't even sell it as a one of the general "action" hollywood films (such as rambo, which is just an excuse for action/violence) as the little action it has in it, isn't actually that good. Best bit about this film was Billy Elliot. Yeah I know that's not his name.. but he will ALWAYS be Billy Elliot.

Saw Juno yesterday I loved the wit, I laughed at quite a lot of the scenes however I found myself getting bored later on in the film.

Worth seeing though.

I don't think any of you know what whining is.

"To complain or protest in a childish fashion."

Juno just gets on with it.

Yeah she does get on with it... in whining ;)

Nah she wasnt quite whining during the film as I said before its something I just noticed her undertone and how she acted during the film... it was like a know it all little brat and her voice was irratating.

Thats how I feel, but I do see bledds point guess not many will.

Just to clarify.

Jumper was rubbish and I really wanted to smack the girl several times.

Neither were absolutely brilliant, but after watching Juno I felt like I'd watched something entertaining... unlike Jumper which was :/

I didn't pay for either.

BB x

Is Ellen Page also in Lemony Snicket? In which case is it wrong that I find her very erm, hot? :/

I hated Juno. My housemate was ready to hit me after we walked out of that film. I'd like to see Jumper, but haven't high expectations of it..

that's how i felt after watching Juno (wanted to smack her), anyone you meet like that in real life is a right PITA -talking out of turn all the time

after a week long Trailer Park Boys fest, spotted Ellen Page in that, she's in S3 i think :)
