Juncker calls for the creation of an EU army.

The illusion of choice is no choice at all! The people that should count don't get that choice is what I should have said.

They wouldn't afterwards either it would just be like nato standard mags fuel and various other standards but not the same equipment.

Only difference the the boot on the grounds is there's now more people wanting him to go fight and die for more causes that really shouldn't be his problem

Nationalism is past its expiry date, many people (particularly educated young ones connected through the internet, games or social networks) are now seeing they have a lot in common with their peers from other developed democracies and few differences. What exactly then, is the point of having a border? Are there honestly many differences between the interests of the UK and those of the Czech Republic? The pride of being part of an entity which strongly stands for freedom, human rights and progress will surpass the pride of being part of a certain state.

A superstate is the next natural step in the evolution of society.

If that was true why did they drop the voting age for the Scottish referendum to try and boost the independence vote?

I think it's obvious that this country can no longer support a large, public sector defence force. And the obvious answer is to privatise the sector. I'm sure G4S, Capita or Stobart Group could do a much more efficient job and provide real value to hard-working tax payers.

I think he has a point.

Then I would use the soldiers headcams to create a live feed to paying subscribers during conflict.

Ring up Activision and get some deal for their kill cameraman.

All you need are some commentators and analysis teams with soldiers stats (distance covered/shots fired/kills confirmed / etc.)

They will be on footballers wages before you know it.

Profit.

but if we say work with the french and the Germans, what more do we gain by working with the polish or the Romanians?

Not much, the same with the Germans, who traditionally are reticent to enter into bilateral joint agreements...they don't like spending on defence.

A superstate is the next natural step in the evolution of society.

Empire builders since the dawn of recorded history have always believed that their own creations are the last word on how human societies should operate.

However, Empires always fall, And when they do, it is always nasty and messy!

The "European Dream" is just another Empire and in time it will fall too!
