Just a friendly reminder

That bint and her David in that video would have wound me up as well, and that video only shows them in a bad light, no-one else.

"'orrible wrain :("

"Oooh, Daaaaavid e's oop me arse :("

"Obviously warnts to go farster than I do!!"

<bikes eventually pull left, car overtakes safely and pulls back in>

"Keep up with him!"

<bikes accelerate past the speed they were doing when they were annoying other road users, riding on the wrong side of the road happens, lead bike tailgates the car>

Motorist has a bit of a go at them, perhaps slightly unfairly.

Bikers get snotty with the motorist when he has a go at them, then make a video trying to put all the blame on the car driver. If they can't go fast enough around the bends for other traffic to move normally, why didn't they wave him through previously? Why complain about a car driving too close when you are riding erratically?

I agree fully with the OP sentiment. I think that there are a lot of badly adjusted high intensity lights around and drivers who do not dip when they should.

The best dipswitch placement ever was on the floor by the drivers left foot.

was it? o.O how did that work then? like hit it with your foot?

but yeah there are some damn bright headlights out there!!! If when I'm out driving and I think my lights are a bit high (dipped) I just dial them down with the like "load compensator" dial, you know the adjuster that can lower the aim of your lights if you have heavy loads in the back (which would make them aim higher). :) but that's usually if I've actually got stuff, most of the time I assume it's fine looking at the line of light on the back of the car in front.

Yes. A steel button on the floor which you clicked on or off.

Far better than the column mounted multi function lever which in some vehicles needs a fair amount of travel and requires your hand to be in the correct position when it is also responsible for other functions at the same time.

what about if you were mid gear change though :p get some heel toe action on the go xD or drifting and wanting to flash your headlights for sho'.... DOUBLE HEEL TOE ACTION! :p

Will admit that the last car I had one on was a Zodiac MkIII with a 3 speed column gear change on a 2.6 litre straight six. The handbrake pulled out from the dash. Not a drifting special. I can't remember where the headlamp flasher was, if it had one :D

The biker video looks just like your average road user, when on unfamiliar roads, grannying it on wet corners speeding up on the straights.

The driver was just the usual impatient and angry idiot, zero tolerance for anyone not driving as fast as they do..

/case closed m'lud :)

I know this because it takes one to know one... But at least I am honest about it...

As a biker, those bikers were idiots. Whether the car driver was too we don't know as we can't see just how 'up her arse' her was!

And possibly incorrect. We don't know if the driver was close to her as we can't see. As I stated in my earlier post, given that the biker's decision skills were poor as well (see next point) it is hard to say whether she is correct or not about how close he was.

The second point - if you want to go slow on, as stated by the biker, a road you don't know well then fine but is it not strange that after being overtaken, she actually states "lets stay with him for a bit" (or words to that effect)? Suddenly she can go much much faster than before?

The driver appeared to remain calm when he got out of his car and explained his opinion. Granted this may be because of the camera but then the front biker was aware of the camera and still marched over to the car driver later on. What happened we will never know because suddenly she doesn't point the camera that way....
