I have had my Saab 9-3 up for sale for a while without much interest but some guy just rang from Dailymotors.co.uk to say that he had buyers waiting for a vehicle like mine and these buyers would be willing to pay £300 more than I was asking with the finances arranged by Dailymotors ( yeah, I should have known by the name if nowt else )
They would contact these buyers once I registered for a fee of £89.99 which supposedly covers the 3 month warranty that they provide.
Just checked out the site and I'm not impressed; especially when I read the T&Cs which include ...... "Our service to you will start as soon as your vehicle is registered with us and you will have no right to cancel your advertisement with us after placing it, and the normal 7 day cooling off period will not apply."
I gave them my debit card details to register; do you reckon I can cancel it at the bank?
Maybe it is all legit and the phone won't stop ringing with people wanting to view the car but I have a sneeking feeling that I just got conned out of £89.99 and I have no way to get it back.
Ideas, suggestions welcome.
