Bell.co.uk were good for me when I had 0 ncb and was 18, it was £1600 just after an accident with on my fiesta, and now with 1ncb it's £1150 with DOC wooop.

Mate, do all the bell.co.uk policies have DOC? or do you have to specify?

Comp mate - who offers bonus accelerators?

What you could do is take out third party and upgrade it to comp later, for strange reasons it becomes far cheaper during the policy to have fully comp like this. Otherwise, fully comp is just something I would avoid at this price range

Actually none of them do if you are under 25 - and this goes for Bell's sister companies Admiral and Elephant as well. The wording of the policy often gives you the impression you have DOC until you read the small print.

Bell are pretty good too, again on prov, they insured me for £86 a month on my old Fiat Cinquecento.

It still amazes me that insurance companies consider you least of a risk being 21 years and 1 day old than being 20 years and 355 days old.

Was a bit worried after you mentioned this, but I rang up Bell today and said I was 19 but as I have their 'flexibell' policy as they call it and paid £40 for DOC extension I do have it. This means I can drive my mums matiz legally....think I may ask for the money back .
