Just Cause 2

I can't help but wish the world had either had the same amount of stuff in it, villages, easter eggs etc and been a bit smaller or have more noticeable things out in the wilderness. Its most noticeable in the mountains where you can go for ages and ages without seeing anything.

I was really impressed by the demo, more fun thatn prototype IMHO which I ended up being CBA with.
Now, should I get this, or MW2, bioschock2, DOW2, metro 2033....damn i'm behind on my gaming, ffing exams!
replay value seems extreme from reading these posts:)
I've only got MW2 from your list and JC2 has a heck of a lot more re-playability than that.

Have you gotten passed the first few missions and into free roam yet? A lot (and I mean a lot) of missions unlock after a little while.

I did the Casino bit then got wtfpwned on the car chase afterward and turned it off, will play it later but thus far I'm not really impressed with it.

Tip: I was the same until I discovered shooting the tyres out of the chasin vehicles sends then into a roll and dispatches them easily for very little ammo use. ;)

Or even easier, use one end of the grapple on the enemy car and the other end on the road or side wall :) Thats the best and nastiest way

I loved that bit, quite easy, just grapple the car to the road, and the car will go spinning and flipping off. Even more fun on the bridge, you can get the cars to go over the edge of the bridge!

After that mission, you then enter the freeform world where you don't have to do anything if you don't want to.

Once you get past the initial learning curve for this game, and learn how best to traverse the world and dispatch enemies it gets a lot more fun. It's a bit bewildering at first, at least that's what I found.

I've done all the faction missions on the map, just working on clearing all the places before continuing with agency missions - it's going to take a loooong time.

Game has been crashing to desktop a bit tonight after what looked like an update on steam :(

Interesting, it has crashed twice for me today - a complete system hang both times too. Has never done this before. Trying to work out whether it is because I have relocated my PC in the room, have changed my NB cooling (although temps are lower) or because of the increased room temps with the weather. Hmm...
