helis arnt hard, its the ground troops that throw me off, and dealing with the helis is a pita, its like your having fun destroying stuff in the chopper...not anymore because you have to deal with the 3 helis that popped up and i just cant be arsed, sure i can hijack them but i cant even be arsed doing that, and most the time when you hijack you end up with a smoking shafted copter thats on its last legs so it gets blown by the ground forces and then you are on the ground and you get wasted, im looking for a cheat(actually i'll try maxing out my triggered explosives first). by the way im on hardcore but i dont think thats the problem, i think my military level is too high.

Download the mod that reduces heli/vehicle spawn time.
 
Just bought the Monster Truck DLC.
Great fun driving down the side of mountains :D Can't wait to see what they have in store for the coming weeks :eek:
 
I'm not really into single player games, but up to about 15 hrs into this game (at least as thats saved progress) and its superb fun

still enjoying the missions, especially the rocket one

had one bug the other day where a road bridge although you could see it - you fell through ! - surprised me when I drove over it and disappeared down through it into the river below, but other than that been fine.

overall - this is what I think single player games should be, not a trudge through a boring long campaign, just fun, and this game is so much fun
 
How do you purchase the DLC on steam? Got the free truck but how about the monster truck?

Edit: found it, shame they don't directly link to it on the Steam JC2 store page.
 
Just got this today brand new from Game for £2.50.:D

I bought Machinarium last month but the distributor made a Major **** Up by packaging all the MAC versions into PC boxes.:eek:

I went to Machinariums website telling them my dilema and they sent a lengthy email apologizing. Then they sent me a new PC copy, thing is they sent me another copy aswell 1 week after they sent the first.

I told them of their error sending me another copy and asked where to send it back ? they never responded so I traided it in for Just Cause 2 with that and the points that i'd acrued so far Just Cause to was only £2.50. :)

I dont kow what to think of this game as I normally prefer 1st person shooters and its too bright outside to play right now. The size of the Map is what sold it for me.

Yeah well ive sure made up for it.:D I,m gonna have to move my PC its right near my window.

Been playing it constantly 4 hours. It's one of those games that slowly creeps up on you isnt it.

I didnt think too much for the first half hour as the Controls are a little clunky for me and also the drivings not too clever but these small critisms aside it looks like a great game.

I dont know what the hell I'm supposed to do though ? I know that I have to kill somebody but not sure where he is or how. Ive so far ingratiated myself with the Ulah boys.

At the moment I'm doing a bit of Free Roam Slaying. Blowing up government facilitys and stuff.:D
 
I recently got this game and love it, not really gone into the missions yet, just having fun roaming around getting to grips with the controls and stuff :)

I can't believe my beloved 8800GT is now a minimum requirement though :(
