Just Cause 2

Just started this and stuck already .... I cant seem to get to the LZ on the parachute drop, what am I missing ? I caught the guy with my PDA but LZ just aint working :o
 
This game is SO much better with an xbawks 360 controller :)

Now I don't know if I can be arsed to re-do the 19% of the game that I lost :(
 
I was on the final mission, half way through it, formatted my pc when i got a virus and forgot to save it!

Does anyone have a save near the end game they could give me so i can see the ending? Ill probably play through it again anyway, as it was great fun, but would like to get the missions out the way first!

I find that irritating in GTA. Especially when I'm still new to that game, and it;s a chore searching to find where I live - plus the fact that you apparently can't save in the middle of a mission??

I hate checkpoiint-based saves, and this is worse (both GTA and Just Cause approaches). Why can't we just save the game state exactly as it is, at this moment in time, as often as we like? there's no technological reason not to do it on a PC - it's laziness on the dev side.
 
I did find a slight workaraound for the saveing issue and don't want to go all the way back to a base on restarting the game:

Go to the start of a mission and the game is autosaved. Next time you start the game you'll be exactly where you left off, although if you abort that mission, you'll go straight back to base again.
 
Completed the story last night, was pretty good and died a few times. Enjoyable game. Gonna do all the other missions etc now. Already spent 25 hours on the game and i cant get enough of it :D

Yeah I'm nearly at 100 hours adn I haven't even finished the story missions yet. I haven't even been doing any missions for the last few days, too busy having other fun. Amazing gameworld.

Defend it to the hilt? Hardly, just my personal opinion.

It makes sense to me. I am not "Defending the game to the hilt", that is just how I see it, sorry you felt the need get so snotty about it.

For those saying it is relating to "Cloud Saves" being too big and constant, saves are only synchronised when you close/open the game.
 
i wish i liked this game, i just find it irritating and the aiming is too hard ( i am using the xbox 360 controller) i die far too easily
 
Anyone know why he only fires one weapon even when I've selected dual wield? He has two SMGs in his hands but only fires the right one. I pressed '2' on the keyboard.
