It's down because the Dev test is over, so they have turned server off/blocked access.

JC2-MP public beta test starting in just a few hours!

We will be holding a public beta test for JC2-MP in just a few hours, which means you will be able to play too!
If everything goes as expected, the test will run for at least 24 hours giving everyone a fair chance to join.

You can find a countdown on our website at www.jc-mp.com which will be updated with a download link when the test starts.
Be sure to read the README file inside the download to make sure you can join the test without any issues or crashes.
We strongly suggest you join IRC too, for basic chatter and troubleshooting. You can find us at #jc2-mp on irc.freenode.net

Just been playing, seems a lot more smooth then the first public dev test, how ever peoples characters do some funny things sometimes still (i.e. no parachute? lol)

You can have lots of fun on this game, has some pretty nice mods as well. Stronger grapple hook is a good one to have, lift cars with a windmill

This is bloody hilarious, haven't laughed so hard during a game in a long time. Dudes falling from the sky head first into the concrete then grappling onto motorbikes, flying them off bridges and deploying parachutes lol it's like 4chan: The Game.

Seemed ok, but the vehicle stealing stuff needs some work. Kind of objective less, same as JC2 singleplayer though.

It seemed promising but there were some serious problems:
1) it's too easy for someone to steal a vehicle from under you

2) If you're playing with friends, it seems nearly impossible to get together - is theres some way of doing this that I missed? And if one of you dies, they respawn a long, long way away.

3) No objectives.

But i did have fun during my 1 hour play around.
