lol nice try, I just don't understand whats going on though, really odd. I have the latest Nvidia game ready drivers installed also. So if its an SLI issue it should be disabling one of the GPUs. I have also manually disabled one and also tried with G-Sync off.

as Josh says try verifying the game with steam.

but yea youre setup should play it sweet..
im running 4690k @4.5, 16gb corsair vengeance and the GTX970 and I can get between 75 to 85 FPS with V-synch off but getting bad screen tearing in some areas of the game. but as said earlier my monitor is only a 60hz

And yes I'd hope £1000's worth of GPU would handle this well.

typical... my internet just went dead for abut 20 minutes... so when it comes back on I think " this seems to be loading pages quicker!!"

so I proceed to do a speed test.. my internet speed normally runs at 7Mbs
Im now getting 17!!! why couldn't this have happened a few days ago I could have played JC3 a lot sooner

Just Cause has a storyline? I just run around exploding things and wingsuiting. That's all I did in JC2 and I racked up tens of hours on Steam.

Skimming through those reviews I find it baffling how people can complain about the graphics being bad on it though - are they playing a different game? As for load times? Join the modern age and install it on an SSD - it's not that bad. Only complain I can really agree with is the lack of FOV options when driving.

Ive got it running off my slave 2 tb 6gb/s hdd and I don't think the load times are that bad.

once I get a bigger ssd I might use my 120gb ssd as a games drive

It's legit if you read a few of the console reviews.

Load times of up to 3mins in certain situations it seems.

Took the plunge for £20 and hoping I'm lucky like I was with AK, as I had virtually no issues on that once on a SSD and the reviews linked with performance were even worse. Any specific settings to use (specs in sig, 1080p)?

I5 [email protected], 8gb ram, on a mechanical hard drive with a stock GTX980 pushing a 21:9 Ultrawide 29" 2560x1080 monitor and the game put everything at maximum/high for me. Big explosions drop the frame rate as most have said but generally it's stuck on 60FPS. No performance issues here. The loading is a bit slow, sure but generally it's fine. No complaints.
