Just Cause 3

Just had a quick blast on my lunch break, God i hope the load screens arent as long once you get out of the starting missions, spent most of my break watching them.

As Tigz said, vehicle physics aren't amazing, but then again, you have a grappling hook, wingsuit & parachute, generally a much more fun & efficient way to get around, the problem for me is distractions, i spent too long last night liberating, plundering & generally blowing stuff up, where is the story mission again? :D

Played a couple hours last night, and this game is really fun, the load screens are long, and the game does slow down quite a bit at point's.

A few things i hate are the Heli controls, I can't aim to shoot things and move at the same time as the camera goes all weird.

The wind suit can be really slow to respond, ended up many times face planting something as it would not pull up quick enough, Car's and bikes feel heavy on it, but i will probably only use them when a mission needs it.

Overall I'm really enjoying it, blowing stuff up, tethering things and launching them doesn't get old.

Hopefully Avalanche will patch this soon to reduce load times, and fix the frame rate.

Yeah, one minute it feels really good, the next it's like it's been filled with lead.

Yep, I've seen people flying low and grappling to keep going, but i just pull myself into the floor, although the wingsuit to really low, parachute and land like a boss is great!

Maybe its just me, but I have a lot of trouble, as with Just Cause 2, seeing where I am being shot at from, I almost wish there was a little radar type thing!

Ah well, still having fun, just need to find the story missions again, I went trapsing off across the map on a random journey last night!

Really regret buying this on PSN yesterday.

Feels exactly the same as JC2 to me, uninteresting/overly similar story line, doesn't look THAT good, camera annoyances, frustrating combat mechanics and pretty dull after about 30 minutes

Bummer :(

As someone who liked JC2 and enjoyed going around completing areas and collecting things, JC3 seems cool enough. But they seemed to have removed some of the features I enjoyed in JC2. There's no more collectibles, instead the gears require actual side-missions to be completed at a high level. And there don't seem to be many of those fun side missions either. At least on the PC mods might be able to fix a few things, but we shouldn't have to rely on such things when the devs could have made a better game in the first place. That said, this isn't a terrible game and is actually quite fun to play. Heck, it's a lot more worthwhile than that Star Wars Battlefront. I could play this for quite a while and not be bored (trust me I get bored of games too easily), whereas Battlefront got boring after just one hour. Not that I was interested in FPS in the first place.

There are collectibles, some areas you have to light candles and others is a radio to find, when near one you will get a WiFi like meter appear on the screen which gets stronger the closer you get.

Been playing this for a couple of hours or so, doesn't feel like it's my cup of tea to be honest, it just wasn't very enjoyable to play.

Only early days, but I normally get a good idea whether a game will grab my attention fairly early on, and this doesn't give me that impression.

If it was the only game I had to play I might keep hold of it, but with plenty out there I think ill move this on whilst I can still get a fair amount of money back on it.

I'm actually really enjoying this. Good simple fun wingsuiting around and blowing everything up. It's no Fallout, but still enjoyable none the less.

Looks like this is a Christmas turkey glad I avoided, saying that even if it was good I would have waited, this year I lost my assassins creed virginity with syndicate, moved onto black flag which I think is even better.

Been playing for a few days now and have to say i'm really enjoying it

So if you loved 2 your love this as it's just the same game set on different islands

I'm sat here wondering where all he negativity for this game is coming from (players and reviews). I think it's fantastic. I will say I never spent much time with jc2, so perhaps that helps, but this is just a lot of fun. Looks great. Plays great. Story is fine so far and keeps things moving along.
