My car is sitting in a very sorry state on my drive at home.

Im not happy.

So yeah...this is the junction that I was approacing (this is from my POV).

The other driver was approaching from the opposite direction and turning to his right down towards the library. I was traveling at 30 and put my brakes on just past the lamp post as he turned and I went straight into him. I had no way to dodge or avoid this.

And this is how he parked his car after the incident.

Nose first into the bush, the man closest the car was the other driver.

To be honest he looks pretty doddery, what actually happened? did he just pull out/in in front of you? I seriously can't believe he thought it suitable to park it in a bush, some old people need to be taken off the road.

He parked his car there!

Cant imagine it would have spun there at such low speed, you must have been doing 15-20mph and he would have been doing a similar speed?

Whats he said about it?

did you get some eye witnesses? it sounds like its 100% his fault so you should get it sorted soon :) just make sure they don't fob you off with some rubbish courtesy car

So he turned despite seeing you (or not) carrying on? Hope the fact that you hit him headfirst instead of him hitting you on the side does not put it in his favour or 50-50.

Btw, have you ever posted about the car on here before, as in a review?

Unlucky mate, glad your OK and hope the old dude was OK, he looks a bit shaken in the pic.

LOL at his parking skills, i think its time he made use of his free bus pass tbh.

Never posted a review on the car no.

No he didnt spin it, thats where he parked the car afterwards, he must have been in shock and put it in a bush.

I got 1 witness who said it was his fault.

And it definately wasn't 50-50, I was traveling up a straight road and he turned in front of me.

Long as you have a witness thats the main thing.

The problem is even though its not your fault as you hit each other these cases can easily go 50/50 without a witness, mine did :(

Hes fault when this happened to me the 3rd party said it was there fault and put there hands up

At the end off the day they have gone into on coming traffic

Unlucky, i just seem to have the same views of the other driver as the other members, thankfully none of you were hurt though, apart from your celica.

Some of the comments are great here, lets see if you will let some 20 year old nerd tell you shouldn't be on the road when you are an OAP.

We all make mistakes.
