I cried watching that show about the deer, Randi. I think it was when it's mum was killed. I was only a youngun at the time though! The only reason I cry now is to balance the amount of salt in my body, none of those poncy emotions ;)

You mean bambi :p

still have never re-watched it to this day, despite seeing the others numerous times

:(

I retract my poof statement...this is the ONLY instance a grown man is allowed to cry.

The final few scenes in Return Of The King - where Frodo gets on the white ship and where Sam returns alone to his home. That pulled at the heartstrings a bit too.
Just finished watching it now and it is pretty powerful. It's worse with the cast commentary on as they really drive it in that it's the end and he's not coming back.

That got me, him waiting for Fry to come back :(

Deadmans Shoes nearly made me cry, i was too drunk to show my emotions. Great British film.

I was going to say that Futurama episode as well (Jurassic Bark)..

That and Buffy 5x22... *cries*

It's more an emence emotion and empathy which builds up with the characters that makes it worse...

Films, rarely, mainly because you can hardly build up a character relationship that you can within TV shows, you feel like you've lived with them after five seasons.

But feh

Please feel free to laugh:

When I was 10 or 11 in the cinema and Macaulay Culkin died in My Girl and the girl started crying at his open casket......

proper tear jerker!!

Green mile did it for me only ever watched it the once lol

Some film called The brotherhood of war got me as well.

Oh and when I was younger watching the fox and the hound.

Where's me tissues gone.

The closest thing I've come to crying at was Band Of Brothers where they're interviewing Winters at the end and he says:

I treasure my remark to a grandson who asked, "Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?" "No", I answered, "But I served in a company of heroes".
That line just gives me emotions I can't really express.. I guess it makes me proud of what they did (even more-so) and how I hope I'll be able to say that to my grandchilds. Not that I'm hoping for another World war, but if I serve in a conflict... I hope you get what I mean.

I cry at loads and loads of films and tv shows - not bawling but just silent tears running down my face

Recent times in memory are actually TV shows - when Doyle dies in Angel and when Spike dies in Buffy (been working my way thru the dvds)

Also anything to do with parents dying - my mum left when I was 5 and my dad died when I was 16 so anything like that really gets me welling up

I don't mind admitting I'm a big softy :o

I have never cried at a movie but when I watched King Kong (new one) I could have easily cried, I didn't because I was in a cinema.

I don't mind admitting I'm a big softy

if you can admitt that then your a hard nut in my eyes
