just got a free game, for a hat?!

So Steam have set up a whole new currency and are actually taxing any sales/trades - they don't miss a trick do they?! :p

I notice that not all of my backpack shows up in the 'sell item' bit; are only certain items available for trade in this way?

It's a new feature so it's not fully functional yet

This is why they hired some form of economical analyst last year. They're always playing with the market as well to see what'll happen.

Yeah, I remember reading about them hiring some top economical guy a while back. Just when I thought the TF2 trading world couldn't get any crazier. :D

I find Steam taking a cut of each transaction highly amusing. :D
