Took some doing this year but got there in the end, not an amazing deal but its pretty good for a low user like me.

12 months
online 35 (600 minutes + 1000 text)
free N95 8GB
free unlimited web bolt on :D
£30 a month
 
Pretty good deal there.
I phoned up the other week and got £20.00 per month was £25.00. Free N95 silver model (did have the Samsung Soul but sent it back) and broadband for £2.50.

That is a very good deal... sounds perfect for me except i would have went for o2 to o2 bolt on instead of the web ones. Well done.. i hope they offer me a similar deal next year :p

Were you an existing customer when you did this deal.

I would be a new customer and phoned them but couldn't get the same. :(
 
I am an original customer, the deals above are for customers who ask to leave (I think)
When I phoned and asked for an upgrade they gave me the prices whats on their website, I asked if they could improve and they could not. Said I would think about it and phone back, well I phoned back but asked for my PAC code in retentions, the chap asked why I was leaving told him poor deals and manged to wangle the above.

one thing im confused about, i was loking at the bolt on's for O2.... now the unlimited web one will give ay free 3G internet yea through the phone.....
now what's the unlimited wifi one for? because if ya use it in your own house surely thats free anyway as it is your internet?

02's web add on is severly throttled still isnt it?

I have the web bolt on with my O2 contract and use it all the time pretty much. Never get charged extra for going over. Not sure what the limit 'actually' is but its a fair bit.

Got to love using WIFI though on the N82 :D

O2 have been saying in interviews and on the phone for the past month or so that they've removed the 200mb limit on the Web bolt on. It's now supposed to be unlimited as long as you don't use it as a modem or for streaming video. However they still haven't updated all the Terms and Conditions pages on their site.

Or if you mean the speed, the speed cap was removed for all postpay customers.
 
ah so in places olike starbucks where they have t-mobile wifi, (i tried and coulnt connect) you have to pay for it, but if its an O2 service provider of the wifi then with that bolt on it's free? hummmmm i dont think ive ever seen O2 wifi anywhere remotely near me :p
 
Im due an upgrade one month from today so will be having to barter with o2 I guess, does anyone have any tips as its the first time I will be doing it.

I'm hoping I will be classed as a customer worth keeping as I've had phone bills as much as £180 and probably an average bill of £55+.

Lay it on thick, how much money youve given them over the last year and how youve been offered this deal with whoever.
I always always get exactly what I want from my upgrades, and Tute can vouch for the fact that I kind of helped him get what he wanted this time.
If they wont give you what you want (or as close to what you want as you are happy with) say thanks but no thanks and ring back the next day, it really does depend on who you speak to on the phone.

They offered it to me for £35, but I was still stalling and I told them i'd think about it. Well I went to a friend's house around the corner and ten minutes later, they call me back to offer it all to me for £30!

Dead chuffed. :D
 
Do I need to speak to the upgrades department to do this then?

All I want is LG Secret or Samsung U900 Soul and 600 minutes and unlimited texts, would £25 a month be a reasonable target for this?

Edit, currently pay £42.50 a month for 600mins with unlimited texts bolt on which kind of sucks compared to what I could get as a new customer with most providers nowadays.
