Not much different to the 3008 model...is it LED backlit?

There are quite some important changes on this new model:-

1.07 Billion colour support, outgoing model was 16.7million.
7ms vs 8ms
twice the amount of inputs.

So considering its practically same price its a fantastic price for DELL's latest monitor. :)

these have 2 DVI and 2 HDMI ports, if using either type of connection do u have to run both outputs on one graphics card to power the picture to the monitor, or is it to allow connection of extra computer/xbox/PS3?

i think it is important that i own one of these monitors soon

lung for sale on the MM soon...

:)

I want to echo this, would we need to use two DVI connections just to drive the one screen?
Then it comes down to deciding whether I'd prefer a giant or two large monitors . . .

At the moment all 120Hz monitors are TN and I'd not want a TN based 30" monitor as there would be colourshift even when staring head on.

I hear ya. It would be nice if the better panels would go 120hz. I know that would come at a price. The hardcore would buy them though.

Probably the best monitor you can buy for the picture and colour quality and its size.

But lets not forget this screen alone probably costs the same as most of our systems:eek:
