As HD Tune was designed around mechanical HHD's it uses Uncompressable data which is the worst test for a SSD (they compress data on the fly). Try ATTO benchmark, it's a SSD benchmark so will give true speeds (My Vertex 3 showed <200mb/s on HD Tune but 550mb/s on ATTO)

Link for ATTO BEnchmark on Softpedia

Is it plugged into SATA port 0? Are you using Intel RST drivers? Did you do a Secure Erase before installing Windows? Have you caused the drive to throttle by running lots of benchmarks that write incompressible data?

As above, HD Tune isn't a great benchmark for SSDs. Use ATTO to get OCZ's advertised benchmarks and AS-SSD to get speeds for incompressible data (but only do it once, more will slow the drive down).

Uncompressable data which is the worst test for a SSD (they compress data on the fly).
This is only true of SSDs that use the SandForce controller (e.g. OCZ & Corsair). Other controllers don't compress data on the fly (e.g. Intel and Crucial).
