Just need to be backed up over accident...

Its pretty clear that it isnt your fault....BUT expect the other insurance company to claim that it was, they always do, its like some defense mechanism, blame the other party no matter how clear cut it is!

They are likely to say you were speeding, or that you were indicatig to turn off then swerved back onto the road and into the other car or somthing similarly stupid. Deny it all and stick to the truth.

Accept nothing less than a settlement of 100% in your favor with all costs, expenses, medical and other bills paid in full by them.

Had the same thing happen to me aswell. Guy pulled out straight into the side of my car and then blamed me for the accident :rolleyes:

My insurers at the time found he wasnt even insured to drive the vehicle he hit me with and he was trying to pull a fast one :mad:

Anyway, I cant possibly see how this accident can be blamed on you!
 
The indicator thing is zero defence for him, dont accept anything less then 100%, pulling out of a junction and admiting that is enough to make this case solid even without any witnesses you might just have to wait longer thats all. Were you comp?
 
I'd imagine/hope so on a 55 plate car. Won't they replace it with a new car seen as its 55 plate or will they repair it?
 
Can I guess that it was the parents who initially suggested you were speeding? It sounds like a classic case of middle aged to elderly people refusing to believe they (or their offspring) could posssibly have been to blame when the other driver is under 30.

Obviously you must have been drunk / high / speeding / using a mobile phone and probably eating an apple at the time as well because its inconceivable they were just incompetent. :rolleyes:
