I don't think newegg is the best place to look for accurate reviews... :p

*customer reviews*, out of the 88+ reviews I think some of them should know what they are talking about, rather lsiten to 88 of them than 3 web reviews....the PC-7 has been through 2 revisions in fact a lot of Lian Li cases go through revisoions, so speaks for themselves really...and as far as i'm aware none of the Lian-Li cases support the HD Audio standard and if you don't know whatt hat is you should not be commenting...

how can a case support HD audio? Explian please

Exactly what I was thinking.

Reviews of cases are only as good as the best case that person has used. Lian Li cases going through revisions is a good thing. A case that is updated over 4 years is a good thing.

I don't know why you bother posting reviews when people here have used the cases and gotten results to disprove your 'reviews'.

Revisions are a good thing, updates the design for current standards, get clued up before you make so blatantly wrong statements please.

And the Lanboy cools better than the Ammo, period. 1deg case temperature is probably WELL below the temperature sensors accuracy, tell me the name of the temperature sensor and its placement and I may take it slightly serious, but 1deg on a case temp does not mean the Ammo cools better.

Nobody on this forum re: cases has agreed with you on anything yet. Going for a record of pointless argumentative posts?

Right, customer reviews... and just like you they will want to defend their purchase.

The Lian Li cases go through revisions because they actually listen to customer feedback and want to improve their product and update it so it competes with the newer competition.

Comparing the Lanboy and Ammo: The lanboy looks nicer imo, cools just as well (it really does... remember I have a 160w CPU!!!11omgwtf), comes with 2 good fans, costs about £25 less, is better at what is was designed for (LANs, it weighs less and is smaller) and has better customer support.

Comparing the PC7 and the Ammo: Lian Li looks nicer imo, cools just as well again, has 2 fans as standard, little bit cheaper, higher build quality and will not 'age' as quickly or depreciate in value.

HD audio is high def audio, it is implemented by most intel chipsets... guess what the case makes no diference to what motherboard you have.

May I add the PC7+ especially is nicer to work in.

Although the Ammo is slightly easier on the hard drive removal front than a Lanboy, its such a small inconvienience that I really normally would not mention it.

You bought an ammo over a PC-7+ and a LANboy because it cools better? You are talking out of your rear end. Did you even listen to the people who own these cases?

You picked the ammo over a mirage because the mirage is ugly?

Excuse me... bwahahahahahahhah! *dies*

Congratulations, for the money you've spent, not only is your case hidious, but it's also rubbish. Enjoy.

Wel lthe Eclipse is UGLY!!!

I have just finished my build into the Eclipse and I like it, feels nice and solid, removable mobo tray, lots of places to hide cables, nice and roomy and doesnt look like its in your face just looks subtle.

It just depends on what u want I suppose. Everybody has different opinions about things so just go with what you like

What a bunch of noobs, HD Audio includes several standards that are incompatible with the older AC97 Audio standard such and multistream audio output, and motherbaords wiht HD Audio headers only work with cases with front panel audio headers, which all the new coolermaster cases feature, Silverstone Also include it on there new case, some motherbaords like the Asus ones can be conected to both HD Audio as well as AC97 type front panels but Intel boards and others need a HD Audio panel...depends on what board you have and also if you intend to use the onboard audio, I have an Intel Viiv Mobo which Features HD Audio and Dolby Digital Live, and want to take advantage of it and the multistream Audio output feature so I can play a game with a 5.1 soundtrack going through my surround sound system while ouputing a seperate VOIP session through a headset at the same time...

I don't mind small spaces, I have a SUGO remember, managed to fit 3 hard drives in that a 180MM optical drive and a modular PSU as well as an X1800XT..takes 3 hours to build and I doubt most of you have the patience for that espeically the 45 minutes - 1 hour of cable management..most of you would give up when you find that you have no room for your 20 PIN ATX cable..again an old pic of my SUGO with a Non MODULAR PSU...

Mate, I spent 20 hours building my S80!

Don't comment on what you do not know, lots of far more knowledgeable people on this forum than you, going on posting style alone and craft of the English language, before we get onto your ideas on how to cool a case.

Everyone has just challenged your comment on the HD audio, no need to call them noobs when your the one that could be wrong.

Keep it in the spirit of a heated debate, or forum acounts do not last long. Every post you have made has caused tension and hatred from everyone I have spoken to about the threads. Disreputing half the forums rigs as not being good coolers in another thread due to 'reviews' and 'tech documents' is not a good posting style. People run this rigs, day in day out without issue so saying their temperatures are way off is not a good way to go.

Nobody has agreed with you on anything yet, it may be the way you post in a confruntational style but its getting on the fringe of just causing trouble, tread carefully and so should everyone else. :)

What part of what I said was wrong?

It is a feature found on most new intel chipsets, and the case does not effect what motherboard you have.

You said "if you don't know whatt hat is you should not be commenting", clearly I showed that I do know without having to read a load of rubbish from the intel website.
I never once said that the front panel on any of the other case would support HD audio, but then again who cares. Plug it in the back like most people, unless you have headphones that are good enough for you to be able to differentiate between them there really is no point.

I Like a challenge.......*could*.... :D

What is wrong with could?

If you like a challenge, accept when you are wrong and try to debate in a nicer style, will make you more friends on the forum. ;)

Meansizzler, a question about that photo. What is the white PCI card on the bottom? I'm just curious.

TV card? or a MPEF device, its along those lines I think.
