I was actually looking at Aviators, but thought they were too big, so chose those £10 ones instead, and there only £10, not going to miss it!

Do cheap sunglasses damage your eyes? Pull the other one. You don't go blind without eye protection. Millions of years of evolution has lead to the human eye being able to cope with sunlight.

Oh and those shades posted buy the OP and the overpriced ones posted by Nitefly look superhomogay.

They look similar to my Oakley Nanowire 2.0 model and the 3.0 but as much protection as well a £10 pair of glasses

When your wearing dark lens you naturally blink less often and if the lens don't offer the necessary protection,long term use can damage the eye.

On the subject of shades, I got a rather nice pair of Ray Bans in Spain last year. They are like a Wayfarers but lighter.

They are a copy of Nike Hyperion II Squares... I bought a pair in Florida 8-9 years ago... But lost them a few months later on a drunken bank holiday.
