Lovely art style, but I never really got into this. I wanted to, and it is good, but with all of the other stuff I had to play at the time, I kinda gave up on it. Should probably give it another bash sometime.

Havent managed to play Gods of War 3. MGS4 is ment to be very good

though if you buy like a 90 day psn plus membership you get Wipeout HD for free and the membership is like £11.99 so saves you £2 there ;)
 
I'm not joking, I tried searching in the exact same manner and I get this ... see not a single price to be found (but I bet the link redirects you to a UK site). Plus I tried a multitude of Google searches.

Jeez! Well I took your advice and checked out Playstation Plus. They had Wipeout HD in the context menu, when I clicked on it the description displays "This full game is free with a subscription of Playstation Plus".

GREAT! I thought, the game is $19.99 normally and with this subscription you get the subscription and Wipeout for $2 less.

WRONG!!!

I bought the Playstation Plus subscription and then directly went to Wipeout HD within the context menu. Clicked on the DOWNLOAD button and I got a very nice message pop up on the screen "This game is free while you are a member of Playstation Plus. If you subscription runs out then you will not be able to play this game".

Charming.

EDIT: Just called PSN to get the membership refunded. Their correct department will be in contact "soon".

It's well worth trawling the PSN store too, there's some great PS3 exclusives on there. If you have a couple of dualshocks, Rag Doll Kung Fu is a great multiplayer game. Pain is fun (and cheap), and Joe Danger is getting amazing reviews.

If you play after 10pm add shorttricky and demondoguk - we're on most nights (work permitting). We pretty much suck, but we do sport a natty ARR clan tag (I know, it's like we've created a whole new level of awesome :D)
 
God of War 3 - best game I've ever played on a console.

Picked up Bayonetta at the weekend as well.....no idea whats going on but it's fun but not as polished as God of War 3!
 
What did you think of the graphics on Bayonetta?

I just got a PS3 and set the PS3 output to 1080p via component cables. My HDTV is only 720p but can display the 1080p signal without issue. However, some games look shockingly crap and Bayonetta really looked poor.

So I wanted to know how Bayonetta looked for you guys, was it crisp and all HD glorifed?
 
I've only played the demo but yea I wasn't impressed with the graphics at all. There was slowdown as well. The 360 version is better the PS3 version isn't a great port.
