Loved this game. First online community i joined and was a blast, anyone remember the pure mohaa site? Never come across so many custom maps, personal faves, guns of navarone and snow ball mod for crimbo. Plus who could say no to the scientist skin and voice spamming in german. Mind you i did prefare the Breakthrough expansion for multiplayer.

I have just re-played RTCW again.. I might give mohaa a replay too. I think mohaa was the first multi-player game I played with on-line with mates and people i knew from work, such was the popularity of this game.

Stalingrad rifles only with no run. i will beat you

make sure you get breakthrough for some great multiplayer levels like 'brest'

Who'd have though that is was the same people that gave us that stinking pile of crap - COD:MW2 also made MOHAA. :(

Wish it was 2002 again :( :(

Loved MOHAA - played in the UKs top TDM team for ages, some classic wars against many Swedish, Dutch and German teams.

It was the best multiplayer game, the expansions added little tbh (no lean and run for example) get an SMG, tear up the corridors in Stali, or round the ally in Algiers. Infact SF and Remagen were also class... DV a bit of a Snipers map, but MOHAA was the only game where skill could get you out of a Snipers sight as you could weave and run... not like todays games where you just move in a straight line right into the lead of a Snipe. MOHAA snipers imo were the best around (good ones obviously) as leading was a lot more difficult when faced with a good player.

Loved the game, but wont go back... as memories are best left there :)

Loved some of the maps on this, especially the Spearhead expansion ones....

Gerwitter, at night in a rain storm......brill atmosphere.

Malta....great map for sneaking around and sniping across the bridge.......

Oh and the MP insults....sounded hilarious in German...:)

Granate deckung!

For me Mohaa came right after a solid 2 years playing Ultima Online, so basically there was a stint of 5 consequetive years where I played no more than TWO games. Makes you think.

One thing though, couldn't they have got a more manly sounding bloke to do the cockney taunts? He always sounded a bit effiminate to me :)

Snowy Park was always a fave map of mine. It was rarely seen on many servers cos it could sucummb to excessive camping, but I really liked to atmos of that map, the crunch of snow underfoot and the ambient sounds, aaaaaahhhhhh, memories.

Absolutely loved MOHAA, played the multiplayer solidly for three or so years. Really enjoyed clan play as well, played with a clan called ***SSS*** in the blueyonder, barrys world and clanbase ladders. Had some amazing matches though we regularly got battered by the really good teams.

Was briefly in a battlefield vietnam clan but ive never really gotten into another shooter so much that i wanted to find a clan. The weapons were great and the objective maps made for some fantastic online play.

still my favourite game of all time and nothing has surpassed it in playability / enjoyment imo, that's not saying that there aren't better games, but not many offer the full package any more.

I always found MOHAA to be a bit of a lag fest online, but in lan parties it was fantastic.

Though BF1942 was out in the same year, and tbh once I got the hang of it, it completely dominated my time. Even playing Neocron took a back seat for awhile.

Still my favourite game of all time too, both for general gameplay and a very friendly and welcoming community (not like the communities of today).

My Favourite games were Liberation, Freeze Tag mod and a spot of free-for-all on Stalingrad. I quite liked the rapid rifles that came in a bit later too.

I'll never forget MOH and the fun I had, played it for a good few years, nothing else has come close to it ever since, I really miss it tbh.

A port to a more modern games engine would be BRILLIANT. Re-do it, maybe combine MOHAA, SH and BT into one awesome game of awesome.

I would buy it in a heartbeat.

But alas... it probably will never happen... but there is always hope! :(
