Ah, Tribes... I only played it for a short time before Tribes 2 came out which I absolutely loved. I played it again about months ago and it was still great fun. Its a complete pain to get working these days though, as you have to bypass the login as it no longer works.

Definately in my top five old school fps games. (Half-Life, CoD1, MOHAA, BF1942, Tribes 2)
 
I know we all looking back through rose tinted specs but the reality of playing online now is that the game is hacked to death. What makes it worse is that many cheats are very subtle about using their advantages so its difficult to expose them and on many servers admins are thin on the ground.
If you are going back to it then be aware.

On the plus side the mods are interesting.........

thing is eddie the cheats were always there don't think on more modern games there are less cheats... most of the cheats actually play newer games not older ones. Which 14 year old who wants to be known as 1337 is going to pick up MOHAA ;)
 
I loved this game, played it for years on CB etc, was also an admin on a lesser league called CMoHL (wonder if anyone remembers that?!).
