I just received my PC today and when I opened I found there is a missing HDD "Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache HDD" I can see only the SSD installed and not the HDD.

In the papers I receive there are also all the checks and there is written "Numbers of drivers installed: 2" it is also signed by a specific person which should be the one that checked everything was ok ........... .

At the moment I'm wihtout words honestly I tought Overclockers was a professional team of people... I don't want even to run it I only opened the boxes to see the missing HDD inside the case and also there is no box for the 1TB HDD so it has just simply not been included while I paid for it awesome

I read it happened before to other ppl. Already put a webnote but ofc no one will reply to me now , hope I wont need to send them everything back.

Anyone have any suggestion on how I should handle this?

* Edit since the post has been locked
1 - I posted in the support forum
2 - It does matter as I cannot use my ordered PC cause I don't know if they want me to send everything back which most probably will make me ask for a refund cause I'm not wasting my time waiting for the PC to go back to them and than to me again
3 - How do you miss an HDD if in the QA sheet you wrote you installed both and checked everything including the 1TB HDD that is unprofessional if it comes from a company that does only this

Anyway sorry I didn't want to be rude it's just my frustration to have a new PC and being unable to use it

Your making out its the end of the world.

Just phone them in the morning, use the machine. I doubt they'll make you return it, aslong as your willing to install the HDD yourself.

Have you checked if the HDD's physically not in the PC?
Go into BIOS and see if it sees one, if it does it might need formatting and giving a drive letter.

If someone's said there's been two drives installed, there really ought to be two drives.

^^ He hasn't even turned it on. Often the mechanical HDDs in pre-built systems will be OEM bought in bulk packaging so the pre-built system wouldn't come with any packaging for the HDD just placed into the system.

Yeah, I've never seen a HDD be anything other than OEM.
I've once received a boxed DVD drive though lol.

Yea, get it fixed, seek more free Haribos and move on with your life. These things happen, it will be fixed, your machine will be fine, the world will turn.

Perspective is important at these times.

Accidentally missing 1 drive doesn't make them unprofessional, it just makes them human.
How they fix it for you, makes them professional.

Hello @MAt79

As others have suggested, can you see the HDD in your BIOS? If so, you simply just need to create a partition on the drive which would be the reason why you cannot see the drive within your operating system. Internal storage drives do not ship with a partition, the system builder must have accidentally forgotten to create one before finishing on your machine.

Here's a guide on how to create a partition on Windows 10.

If your BIOS is not detecting a second drive we'll need to take a deeper look into your order tomorrow.

I do realise this thread is now locked, feel free to start a conversation though as we're out of hours I do not have access to our ordering system there's only so much I can assist you with.
