That's not entirely true, as I mentioned earlier if someone gets your name & address, bank account number & sort code they can have a go at forging a Standing Order form, it's then entirely in the hands of the bored bank clerks whether the form & funds gets processed or not. The name & address are usually the easiest part of the equation to get:)
Possibly - but not mine.

You can probably find the name though.

Maybe he got the wrong email?

It turns out it was an honest mistake, its just very unusual for that email account to get any normal mail, its all spam etc. Sorry to the person it was :o

P.S I blame it on having a really bad day! :(

You think you had a bad day?

I think the person whose address and phone number you put up on an internet forum for everyone to see is having a bad day  :p

Except put money in!!

that's what i was gonna do with online banking, like 1p or something but i think there is a minimum, i would probably need your name too, and i cba cos it would be a bit pointless really.

Off one of the lads you bought stuff from on here maybe, that'd be my first shot:)
Heh - I suppose so, if they were willing to cooperate.

Although I have moved home since the last transaction :)

There's always and electoral register lookup - If I had registered.

Or the phone book - Were I listed.

Or you might work for an ISP / Telco, in which case, would it be worth your job and a custodial sentence? (Or for a mate that worked in one).

You could do a whois on domains I own - you may find that quite amusing.

My real bank details and car reg?

Are you mental!?!??!!

Shouldn't be too hard to find a forwarding address from the new owners etc.:)
Didn't think it was your bank account, not unless you bank at Barclays in Edinburgh;)

I hope you haven't submitted false WHOIS data young man
Who me?

Never!

Why would I, as a private individual, not want to make my home address available to any monkey on the internet?

Now, I'm off to Buck House for tea.

If my memory and general perception serves me right, there's more to Borris than meets the eye...or maybe less truth to his posts than we think.

*spooky music*

If you have a .uk domain name, as a private individual you have the option to opt-out of having your details publically available. As far as I know ICANN have no such policy and as such you're breaching your agreement with them.

That is, of course, unless that information is correct... :p
