So what was the outcome of this after ?
story reported sensationaly turned out to be an accident or what ?
or the hoody kids (shock horror) where infact a bit OTT or scared of dogs or something all abit over reactionary ?
either way kicking a dog to death is pretty messed up - accident or not
) on this forum but I'm betting not one of you have had a puppy stamped to death in a park.Anything can scare someone and you don't know how you will react. Fair enough, if he did it for fun, then he is obviously scum and deserves what he'll get; If he just reacted however i.e it ran up behind him and barked (even if it is a small dog) can frighten you quite a bit! (I've had many dogs and small dogs.)
Even so, he will still deserve more than what he gets for killing a domestic animal.
I have been in a situation where my dog was shot twice because a farmer thought it was hassling his sheep - which it was proven wasn't. He even gave his unlicensed 17 year old son the gun to finish it in our own yard, any my step-mum was in the kitchen at the time!
All he got was a £100 fine and nothing more - Does anyone think this was fair?
I feel sorry for the little girl in any case.![]()
The three youths were wearing dark jeans and hooded tops.
That is an absolute liberty!
A farmer shot your dog becuase he thought it was keeping him awake at night, and he got £100 fine? The man sounds like a nutjob.
Id pay someone to shoot all his livestock i think.

Terrible, cruelty to animals sends a rage through me like no other.

The country has gone to the dogs, no pun intended![]()

I understand your anger but wtf has the live stock done in order for your suggestion![]()

Basically an eye for an eye as the justice meated out by the official channels was pathetic. My dog is part of the family and if somebody shot him dead becuase they thought he was keeping them up at night i certainly could not rest easy without some sort of vengance.
It was abit of a tongue in cheek remark though mate, but i cant deny it was the first act of revenge that came into my head![]()

Why not do harm to the farmer though, hurting his live stock seems dumb and pointless to me as they done sweet f a.
ABH & GBH are prison offences.
, revenge is a dish best served cold. The piece in the cambridge news makes it clearer what actually happened, he stamped on it.
I'd guess he was trying to be cool in front of his mates, with some luck one his mates will report him but as I said before - don't expect any serious punishment like jail time, just won't happen.
If he does get reported though just his family and friends knowing would be enough to put a big dent in his life, hopefully, maybe his family and friends are even worse.
. I can honestly say I wouldn't have a problem if someone stamped that guys head in, cruelty to animals is on par with cruelty to humans, they feel the pain just as much.To the "its just a dog" brigade...
To some people, they aren't "just dogs", they are adoring members of the family. My dog means as much to me as my daughter, and I would act the same if someone was trying to hurt either of them.
I won't necessary dispute the fact that you would act the same if someone was trying to hurt your daughter or your dog. However, I don't think your family dog means as much to you as your daughter does. This is a pretty unrealistic scenario but if you had to choose between your daughters life or your dogs life, I'm sure you wouldn't hesitate and choose your daughters life. It doesn't mean to say you're an in-compassionate soul with regards to your dog, it just means you value your daughters life more which is really the way it should be.
