You're highlighting my point. You can only see it as "hate" or rude. Something isn't rude just because you don't like it.

You don't understand what criticism is if you think that wasn't a critical comment. Which again, proves my point.

Okay technically it is negative criticism, with that I still think that is a type of dislike and rude to be stated on a forum without knowing the person at all. It has no place here in honesty to compare someone's spending habit to not giving to charity. For all we know Kap could give thousands to charities but that is Kap's business.

And it is rude because it is disrespectful to someone, not because I don't approve.

Somebody's got to buy them, right Kaap? :D

It's got me thinking, what other franchise is Nvidia going to milk next? Limited edition Stranger Things 1080Ti?

I think it's one of the coolest things I've ever seen and I'd definitely consider getting one if I had the cash - some things in life are too awesome to put a price on. Just showed the picture to my boys, the youngest ones 5th birthday is next week and now he says he wants a lightsabre graphics card for his birthday (I built them a gaming PC for their bedroom last month). Had to explain daddy doesn't have £1200 to spend on birthday presents!

If it was black with purple accents and had a Decepticon insignia on it, I'd be all over it. But I'm not big enough of a Star Wars fan to put my cash in that kind of card - had it been TransFormers G.1 or something with a Thundercats logo then óh hell yea :D

It's a pancake from me, Clive.

Sorry, but this whole side of the PC enthusiast scene is beyond me, couldn't care less for limited editions, fairy lights, things designed to appeal to 12 year old boys etc..

It all just gets chucked in a case and forgotten about, I couldn't care less for colour schemes and windowed cases, so long as it's quick and quiet I'm not bothered.

Looks nice.
Remember folks, "collectible" doesn't necessarily mean an investment. People collect things also because they enjoy them.
These collectible cards are great in many ways, it's clearly way ahead of the completion of this era and has a theme that people are quite fond of. You never know, maybe will hold it's value although that's very rare with technology/gadgets/components.
Ideally you want them to not sell well :)

Contribute a fair bit to this section Kaap and honestly I don’t think you give a damn what any of us GPU peasants think about your purchases, so enjoy the card and more importantly keep us updated :)

I just binned 9 old PCs ranging from an original IBM Model 5150(which was rescued) to an Athlon XP2000+/Intel Pentium 4, along with monitors, keyboards, printers, 3 laptops and 34HDDs. I did use some as backup solutions but in general it was just a bad habit.

I really must get the 7950, 290 and 980Ti on the Bay otherwise they will end up in the bin as well

Funny, though this comment isn’t aimed at kaap before they come to conclusions and worst of all assume something.

There was a time I remember in 2003 - 2006 when the RGB thing with cases and case fans yet this place slagged them something rotten. The days of Thermaltake bashing. Yet here we are again where it is now hip?
The same comments I read back then. Childish.

I still reckon when RGB is done right it looks best on keyboards and mice. Some case setups look nice with subtle lighting like that @khemist fella.

There was another person here who had an Asus setup all Sith like? Now that would have been nice to see @Kaapstad ’s card in.

Though for gaming I usually have the lights off on the mouse and keys set to reactive lights for my binds for each game profile. Nothing flashes but you know what colour represents each weapon in your peripheral vision.

As for chucked in, no cable management is a serious thing that pride and passion shows.

Its his money and he earned it, why do you not do without your next new TV or holiday and give it to one of the far too many cha
