Kaby Lake review at Bit-tech!

I just order a new gaming rig with a Z270 motherboard but with a 6700k CPU with a Kraken X62 cooler and a Titan Pascal gpu. I was worried about power consumption and heat off of the Kabylake 7700k and worst fps. I'm using a 4k Hdr tv as a monitor so I'm capped at 60 fps in any resolution. The question I got really is did I make the right choice in cpu? I'm brand new to the PC world I'm coming from a crappy console mind you.

No.

I'm a bit confused why you bought a Z270 motherboard with a 6700k? Did the motherboard have features you wanted that a Z170 board didn't? If you were set on that mobo, why not just get a 7700k?

I'm not sure what you're asking? What PSU do you have? Worse FPS with the CPU? It's pretty much neck and neck with the 7700k, so you can't get much better. The Kraken is a fine cooler... what temps are you getting exactly? Unless it's burning up, it won't impact your FPS. Your GPU does most of the work there anyway, and you have the best money can buy with the Titan.
