I've done all the 'A' rating but I haven't got another controller for co-op yet so can't get 1000 points.

I'm stuck, this time with the second glass jawed troll at the entrance to the castle. He's the one with 2 small armoured trolls with him. I do the pummel weed thing and chin him then switch to chilla to spike him in the throat but he seems to recover from the uppercut before I get a chance to spike him.

I am thinking that either I need to get into "warrior focus" somehow to give me more time or I need to upgrade pummelweeds punching power.

Any suggestions ?

I'm not sure, but do you have Thermite? If you do, use mortar on him, takes longer to recover. I think he does anyway, going from memory here.

Use Thermite to shoot him - keeps him stunned for longer and has a huge range. Quickly switch to Chilla and go nuts

Yeah as Creature said it's a lot easier with Thermite if you have him. Which level is it by the way?

After you get thermite you have to cross the badlands again and batter the trolls amassed by his castle.
Eventually you get through them onto the drawbridge and take out a catapult and then enter the gates.

At this point there is a huge troll and his two armoured little troll mates.

Easy enough but it ook like 7 billion hours

Bit of a bump on this - does anyone know when the co-op is going to be enabled, I can't find anything concrete on it.

See earlier post - wasn't quite 7 hours but sure as hell felt like it. Longest boss fight in the game I'd say

I think it is wait for him to club you, move back so he misses, then launch an icespear into his guts when he opens the flap.
Then change to the other green thing, grab some bugs in your mouth, root to the spot, sway and spit the bugs onto him. Then back to chilla and ice spear the bugs.

What I found was that the lower Droks health the faster he stomps at you.
So I was thinking perhaps I should cover him in bugs before I icespeared the bugs.
The question is do the bugs stay stuck to him or do they fall off if you don't spear them early enough?

They seem to stick to him indefinately

They can also be stuck on his back which should give you an easier shot later

Yea, they stay on him for a bit, so just collect all the bugs you can, chuck them on hi till theres none left, and spear him. Should go down fairly quick after that.

I think you need to collect everything (all fruits and collectables) to get that achievement

Go to Gamefaqs, there's a little guide there for finding all the fruit/elixirs/eyes if you want it.

The "A" rankings are seperate achievements

i collected all the fruits and stuff 100% before i went to final stage, this way you know you get the achievement when you beat final boss. must have spent 3/4 hours rechecking what fruits i had until i found a excel file that i could checkmark all items i collected. Wthout that i would have been wandering round for ages, lol
