Yeah thats true, but i wouldnt suggest paying that much for one if your only interest was home security :S.

They also cover the edge of the blade in clay when they cool it. It makes the edge harder and the main backbone of the blade more flexible and less likely to break.

I dont quite understand what your saying there. Your saying im not worth knowing cos i appreciate quality? Well yeah i do, i dont like spending my money on poor quality goods, that applies to most things, computers/cars/clothes w/e.
