I also find that when I have had to work closely with 'johnny foreigner' in a professional capacity, Eastern Europeans and Indians have some of the strongest work ethics I've ever seen. If something needs done, it's done immediately.

British people are invariably workshy fops.

I believe in keeping money where it matters... at home.

Paying UK people to do the jobs makes sure theres more money in the UK economy and it stays here, keeping others in jobs.

We are seeing the situation now where companies cream large amounts of money from the public without returning this back via jobs or money to the economy which helps keep things stable and sustain growth.

Whenever my mates ring up Orange they just slam the phone when its a non UK call centre and when it is they always tell you what you do not want to hear ~ lose both ways. Some of the foriegn call centre people actually work, just some though.

As for 'keeping it British' ~ well yeah to a certain extent. If nobody can fill the jobs here its natural to look overseas, but if the government/big businesses can pay way lower wages to foriegn workers and they will accept they do it. Ironic, import into the UK and you pay various charges to make sure its fair on UK traders (basically balancing the costs out).

Where is the fairness when companies outsource out of the UK leaving thousands redundant but yet these companies make money from the UK.

Always two set of rules ~ its not about what the country wants or whats good for the country. Its about who can get the most money, regardless of cost.

Couldn't care less about keeping anything British. Whoever and whatever gives me the lowest price with the best service gets my business. My job takes me around Europe quite a bit so I'm afraid I don't share the sense of group belonging (same traits found in meerkats or Vurungu region gorillas) that some Brits have towards the Union Jack or St George. I'm as comfortable in any country and culture than I am here in UK.

At the end of the day it factors down to cost. Foreign call centres are cheaper, which is why they are implemented. Ive never had any bad experiences with them.

I've seen that over and over and over again. Whenver I'm interviewing anyone for a job these days, I'm always leaning slightly towards the foreign applicant.

ive experienced no difference with call centres.. i can understand the indians no more than the muppets up in glasglow..

one of the reasons that i am learning polish is due to the fact that A) there are so many coming into the country and B) if i want to progress upwards then being able to clearly communicate with the workers will make me stand out.

to be honest, when polish workers are willing to come to the UK and work harder, faster and for less than locals then I don't blame people using them!

Just looks like a glorified business directory for racists to me. The owners clearly don't give a stuff about their so-called cause; it's all about the £295 per annum they are charging each business to be featured on their website.

Garbage, in my opinion.

P.S. The website itself is a disgrace to our country.

Great attitude man. No point in resisting or denying what's happening to UK with regards to immigration. Better brush up on those Bulgarian and Romanian skillz as well

not just that, they genuinly beleve in working for what you get! they work their asses off and get payed a pittince but are glad about it.
if you asked a UK guy to work like that he would tell you to bugger off as he can get better money on the doal for nothing!
