So do you as the title says finish a game and sell it or replay and keep.

Reason I ask is so far apart from PGR I dont have a 360 game Ive thought I would keep and get more out of. So Ive completed as fast as possible and then recouped as much money as possible for the next buy.

This method caused and mate and I to sell our finished GRAW before having a real bash online. Now we both regret selling it.

I cant see me keeping Kong or Blazing Angels either once they are finished.

BTW if anyone is after a cheap Blazing Angels, search an auction site for blazing angles, Ive seen one go for a tenner ;)

I tend to keep hold of games until I'm absolutely certain I won't play them properly again (generally for a month or two since I last played it), then I'll trade it in towards something else. There are some games though that I'll always keep, such as good multiplayer games, which can be fun whenever I have mates around.

I am a stickler for keeping games, I can't bring myself to part with them until GAME do their 4 in and £1 for a game deals.

im the same, i've got everygame i ever bought still startin with the megadrive onwards.

i just couldnt ever bring my self to sell them on, just incase there comes a day when i suddenly think "ooo, i wanna have a bash at that". its no good if i sold it, then years later i decided i wanna have a quick go at it but have to go out and buy it or rent it, cos by the time i get out and pick it up, the feeling of ooo i wanna play that has gone usually :(

True but if you sell now, you may well find you can buy it again 6 months later for less than you sold it for whilst playing new games in the mean time.

I rarely go back to a game once i've had my fun out of it so I sell them on. I used to keep all my games back in the PS2 days and they just collected dust until they were worthless which was a bit of a waste.

I sell some games if i know I'm not going to play them again, or if I really need the money.
I never trade games in though, the trade in prices are always so incredibly low it's not worth it so I sell them on the MM or eBay.

Good MP games like PGR3 and GRAW I will always keep unless a better sequel comes out. SP games I will usually play then sell. Although I may keep hold of Oblivion as by the time I've done everything it probably won't be worth selling.

I think I've only ever sold four or five games. That was all so I could afford my MS Force Feedback joystick :)

Worth it though.

I'm the same but now I'm starting to change.
I have old DOS PC games dating back to the Win3.11 era lol, and I am seriously running out of space to store all of them. I'm selling most games I either can't get along with (burnout revenge), or the ones that plain get on my nerves (cod2).

This is the most sensible approach I think.

It's not like you to be calling me sensible VIRII ;)

LOL. We aren't in SC so in here you're not a nasty Scots nationalist tory hater but a fellow gamer and all round nice guy.

I just tend to keep everything, can never be bothered with the hassle of trading in or selling stuff.

I tend to do the same with anything though, which probably means i'll turn into a terrible hoarder in later life.

I always keep my pc games but then I try only to buy the top titles. Generally trade in value for 360 games seems pretty poor so it seems best to sell privately. With games available much cheaper online, it's not really worth trading in something for £20 when you then have £30 left to pay.

Depends, if its an upgrade then the old version usually gets traded in, because the new one replaces it...

if its not, i usually find something ive not been using a lot to trade in.. dont like paying full whack for games any more..
