Keep or sell games?

i sell any game that i "get close to completing" i only keep games that are good 4 when me mates are around, so i have kept FN3, DOA4, FIFA, PGR3 etc

Sell them so I can get money to buy another one - keep doin it and Ill have completed and array of games instead of just the couple I can afford :p

Also drives you to complete a game you dont like instead of binning it, when it might get later on as I dont tend to get many new ones before completing the old ones.

If theres something amazing, ill keep it, or just sell it when people will pay close to rrp for it, and buy it back later for cheapness, did this with zelda 64, paid 40 quid for it, completed it, sold it for 30 quid on ebay... then found it at a car boot sale last week for 20p :D! although the 20p was a monsterous bargain its less than a fiver in every shop second hand, if i kept it i would have lost 25 quid at least and probably not played it as id completed it, now ive got it 5 years later, i dont mind completing it again as it brings back so many memorys :)

Depends if I like the game or not, if I do I keep it and if not sell it on, my thinking is that ill never get any use out of it, so im better having some money for it.

tho I always try to sell it on the bay or members market, you just don’t get your moneys worth off trade ins

Kept all mine..not through lack of trying!..no one seems to want my games /when i chuck them up on MM. :(

I do, it is just that the very early releases like King Kong are expected to suffer significant price drop soon.
King Kong is available new for £35 making it the cheapest 360 game currently available, I expect PDZ, Condemned, CoD2 etc to follow suit soon.

The other reason for not buying just yet is that I still have not got full gamer points out of each game. I have completed CoD2 and Kameo but still have a lot to do to get the full GP.
I have yet to really get stuck into Condemned as well, yet to even finish it.
Yet to finish Full Auto too.

One of the advantages of being slow to finish games is that choice and prices become far more favourable to buyers like me by the timne we are ready for our next game lol.

I regretted selling FF7, however I luckily found FF8 in the boot sale box in the shed yesturday from when we were going to have a boot sale 3 years ago, 3 quid? Im keeping that now :D

Following on from what I posted earlier I rang Game and Gamestation today.
(Hemel Hempstead branches)
The prices they gave me were as follows for trade in and cash buy.

Condemned : Gamestation £25 trade-in, £18 cash buy
Game £18 / £12
PDZ collectors: Gamestation £24 trade-in, £18 cash buy
Game £18 / £12
King Kong : Gamestation £12 trade-in, £8 Cash buy
Game £12 / £8

As I said before I expect early releases such as the above to drop rapidly in value especially now that games such as Oblivion and TR Legends are coming through to market. I also expect to see a price differential between online and offline games.

Keep. I'm a horder. I love replaying single-player games, so even those get kept. In the case of Deus Ex I actually went out and bought it again after losing my original copy of it, but that's only because it was so damn good. :p

I did the exact same thing :o

As many if its a great multiplayer game (be it on LIVE or against mates..) then I'll keep, even after completing on multiple difficulties etc. But if not then I'll sell on, mainly like others so I can get new games.

;)
