Is there anything in particular anyone is hoping to pick up?

I'm hoping to pick up a 4k Amp to go with my setup. Nothing fancy, doesn't need Atmos or anything. Just a nice simple 4k Amp with 4 or 5 HDMI inputs.

Any particular brand/model people would say to watch out for?

black friday usually has a couple of decent deals but usually on very high end tv's on amazon. your talking £1300-£1800. cheaper deals are usually crap and they bump up the price before reducing it so your only getting £50 off.

Black friday started yesterday, tv ads last night - trying to empty wallet before the competitors.

(free - a Firefox add-on that will add the camel price history to the web page.)

The entry level denon x1200w/x1300w should fit the bill. All 2015/2016 models will have Atmos as standard I think. Anything pre 2015 will be 4k pass through only.

55ks7000 is already retailing for 999£. I am not sure if this price will come down by much this Black Friday given it's already the cheapest 55" 10-bit panel on the market.

I put a Sony XRDA projector into my "wish list". Not likely to happen, but if one were to be the right price, then maybe.

Soeaking of the ks7000 does anybody know whether it can pass through 5.1 via optical? Asking due to sonos hooked up on tv

The ks7000 looks really nice was thinking on it myself. For the 49" though not the 55". Richer sounds do the 49" for over a thousand. Im wondering if they can do a deal without the 4k player which should bring it cheaper then the 55". 55" would be to big for our room
