ks9000 is only £1600 at the moment. Hoping for another drop on it, But i really cant see it happening :(

Out of interest, why the KS9000? It's still edge-lit with all the problems that come with it. I'd either go 'budget' with the KS7000 or go full on with the backlit 9500.

The ks7000 is the one for me, without a doubt. Silly buying anything more expensive at the minute, we are on the cusp of the mainstream OLED generation. Should last at least 3 years, by that time there will be some very nice sets on the market.

55" again is the sweet spot. Now for the big question....will it drop under £1,000 before Christmas :D

Hopefully. Hopefully other manufacturers will sort out their input lag too. The KS series are pretty much the only game in town if you want HDR and low lag.

I'm getting swayed towards a Sony KD55XD8599, the Samsung KS7000 looked good until I came across the problems of the back coming away from the screen and motion blur.

The Panasonic 50DX750B is also another consideration but some of the reviews just put me off that one, not sure why as they are not really bad reviews, just seems something is missing.

Correct.

And with the pound lower, TV's next year could cost a lot more.

That would be a terrible excuse as they have always cost more here even when pound could buy you $2. Why does the USA get everything for half the price of the UK?

Now with it weak against the Euro they use that as an excuse to raise prices. But when the pound is strong prices never go down unless it's PC components your buying everything else, trainers, food, etc goes up.
