Keeping An Eye Out Next Week (Black Friday)

Having looked at recent reviews of that set on John Lewis it seems it's not great with motion processing and leads to frame stuttering.

I am not sure if it is too soon to jump on the OLED 4K TV, would only settle for something with true HDR, and no less than 50", preferably not curved....Is there anything great for under £1k?

Reviews in store comment sections are usually by people posting 2 minutes after setting up who don't know to turn off the processing options. Better off reading reviews on forums like avforum.

Very good point.

Does anyone know if the ks7000 does indeed come with the external box for the hdmi connections, I keep seeing it in pictures.

Thanks

I don't think so with this one, there's multiple reviews on the same issue and people have tried messing with the processing options to no avail.

Yes it does come with the One Connect separate box, it's incredibly useful! Got my 55" KS7000 last week. :D

I have a TV unit with cupboards to left and right, so it enabled me to fit my box and tidy the cables in the cupboard. Which means I can route all my cables e.g. HDMI for Sky, Bluray, Apple TV and coax to sound bar into there. Which keeps everything neat, tidy and out of sight... :)

The only cables I have from the TV are power and the one connect cable to the box. So much that I've ordered a few 1 metre HDMI cables, now the cables only need about 60-70cm to go from the centre of the TV unit to the right cupboard adjacent. ;)

No. Not if you want true certified HDR. You can get smaller sets for under your budget.

Oops I told a lie, there are a few around now

Panasonic TX-50DX750B 50″ 4K UHD TV
LG 49UH850V Smart 3D 4k LED TV (although i dont think this is quite true HDR?)
Sony Bravia 50SD8005 HDR 4K Ultra HD Android TV (which is meant to be a stunning TV)
