Kerbal Space Program 2

Saw this thread was bumped and came in here hoping for some good news..... really sucks that T2 have seemingly dumped the IP.
I saw an interview on Matt Lowne's channel a week or so ago with Felipe (HarvesteR), the original KSP1 dev/creator. He's now wokring on another project, but I'm quietly hoping the IP finds it's way back in to his control - It was interesting hearing how he would have approached the development cycle!

If anyone's interested, it's here -

Stuff about how he would have approached it is towards the end

Wow, I only just found out that they killed KSB 2 when I looked at it on the Steam page. I can't believe they are selling early access to a game not under development. That is just so dishonest.

The studio and IP have been bought by a yet unknown person/s/company although I don't think it offers much hope for KSP2 they would probably be better off starting fresh with KSP3, the worst is that KSP2 is still for sale on steam despite being a now dead game

Rocketwerkz, developers of Stationeers and Icarus are working on Kitten Space Agency - effectively a clone of KSP. They were also one of the final 3 studios who were in the running for the development team, so fingers crossed we might get something to fill the KSP hole in our hearts.

If only they'd spent as much effort on the game as all the PR, marketing and fancy concept videos.

Are you surprised though?

Sorry I don't mean to direct this at you as such, but people need to start waking up to this stuff.

Let's have a look, small indie game with great reputation and popularity, great you have interest already.

Promise the earth and make shiney promo videos, spend lots of money on marketing.

Your company starts getting invested in, you effectively pay yourself with those investments.

Release a pile of garbage, take whatever you've got from investments and pre order sales, cut and run.

Rinse and repeat.
