Love Kick-Ass but found this strangely lacking, i hate to be one of those "omg it hardly followed the comic y0!" people but i think it suffered in places for it.

A brief list of some of the things that I found bad -
Sound track of first film was awesome.. loads of Prodigy songs and Joan Jett in the Hit Girl main fight scene. This film had nothing...no decent tunes to capture the mood of the film and that whole boy band thing that the horrible high school girls were watching....that was an awful moment in the film. Are they even a real band? If they are then it was a tacky promomotional plug, advertising bubble gum pop rubbish...
Red Mists new name??....The Mother******?? Really?
Red Mists costume - He's a millionaire yet has to dig out his dead mums sex clothes and dresses like a gimp.
ALL of the 'secondary' super heros and bad guys were completely pointless...The only one that done anything in the film was the big Russian man-woman. All of the other bad guys got a special (equally unfunny) name then that was it...no more involvement in the film.
Hit Girl beats up a few randos in an alley at the start of the film, then for the rest of the film leading up to the end scene she's no longer Hit Girl, shes a high school kid trying to fit in with snooty rich kids. Not having her involved through the film as Hit Girl and instead replacing it with a mid section that may as well have been taken from a film like 10 things I hate about you, was a huge mistake...
The plot was one big pointless ride without any substance whatsoever.
